WINE STORY
Leonard Street Grüner is an ode to our TriBeCa roots, and memories of warm weather brunches where locals are often found drinking this cold, crisp white. The first varietal we made, it was also named after the patriarch of our family, Leonard, who always reminded us to pursue our passions with unwavering dedication.
TASTING NOTES
Crisp, dry and refreshing with aromas of juicy apples, pears and lime zest, the palate brings notes of herbal tea and thyme with a spicy white pepper finish, for which Grüner Veltliner is so famous. Pairs equally well with brunch or dinner party plans.
TASTING NOTES (WINE ENTHUSIAST - 91 POINTS)
A very golden color in the glass, this bottling explores the denser side of Grüner, offering aromas of melon rind, dried grass clippings and toasted nuts. The richly textured palate is cut by citrus-peel acidity and a wet-clay minerality.
