WINE STORY
The name of the street Alana grew up on, Ocean Ave is an homage to a hotel on that same street where Matt cast many photo shoots. It’s also home to Fig at The Fairmont, a favorite happy hour spot down the street from their bungalow by the beach.
TASTING NOTES
This Cabernet embodies the distinctive essence of Happy Canyon Cabernets. It unfolds with an enticing medley of savory elements - bay leaf, herbal undertones, hints of mint, leather, and licorice - which gracefully complement a vibrant core of red-toned fruit. A medium-bodied and perfumed Cabernet, it presents a symphony of flavors that are both lively and aromatic, offering a delightful experience for the palate.
TASTING NOTES (WINE ENTHUSIAST - 93 Points)
Macerated blackberry, cherry cola and woodsmoke aromas converge on the nose of this bottling. The palate deftly integrates oak smoke with rich strawberry fruit, as toasted herb and peppercorn touches add ample spice.
