WINE STORY

Read Street is our signature red blend. The 2021 vintage is composed of 50% Merlot, 35% Petit Verdot, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Reade Street has always been one of my favorite blocks in TriBeCa. Lined with incredible restaurants, unique shops, and classic cast-iron buildings, it captures everything I love about the neighborhood. As you walk west toward the Hudson River, the city seems to slow down. The streets become quieter, the pace more relaxed, and the neighborhood takes on a peaceful feel.

It was a route I walked almost every day with my dog, Cassius, and those walks became part of my daily routine. This wine is a tribute to that special street and the memories it holds.

TASTING NOTES
This Cabernet embodies the distinctive essence of Happy Canyon Cabernets. It unfolds with an enticing medley of savory elements - bay leaf, herbal undertones, hints of mint, leather, and licorice - which gracefully complement a vibrant core of red-toned fruit. A medium-bodied and perfumed Cabernet, it presents a symphony of flavors that are both lively and aromatic, offering a delightful experience for the palate.

TASTING NOTES
A beautifully structured Bordeaux-style blend offering aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis, and dark plum, complemented by hints of cedar, cocoa, and sweet spice. Concentrated yet refined, with polished tannins and a lingering finish.
